Ruined silence in the palace

The peaceful silence in the Parthevia palace was disrupted by several battle cries shortly followed by a cry of pain mixed with a shout "I surrender!" In the middle of the palace where all this noise came from stood Fumiko surrounded by her soldiers all of which had full armor on and weapons in their hands Fumiko herself no armor on and only her weapon at her side not in her hands then without warning ran one of the soldiers at Fumiko attacking her with his spear followed by more of the soldiers ran at her attacking with their weapons and shouting battle cries the Queen avoided and blocked all the attacks without breaking a sweat and then in one fluid motion disarmed she all the soldiers followed by a few attacks that sent all the soldiers down on the ground and a few of them shouting in pain the Queen stood up and looked at the soldiers "Better but none of you can still not touch me" The soldiers nodded all and walked slowly away after having collected their weapons "Next team gets ready!" Shouted Fumiko and more soldiers got around her so she could continue her training she had even asked her guards to bring anyone who would talk to her while she was training should there be anything or anyone important that requirement she was there

Khizar approached with his sword at his hand. He waved off the team of guards that were going to go the next round with Fumiko. The fact that they backed off when he did wave showed how they had come to respect him. The first few rounds of sparring Khizar went against the guards that had laughed at him two days ago were rough for both parties. They got a few licks in on Khizar as he was unfamiliar with their blade work, but they got worse then they gave some getting knocked out cold by Khizar and his royal swordplay. This was a daily routine in the morning, mastering the Parthevian blade and learning from its people about its culture at night as the queen had asked him to do. By the end of the two days the guards were almost unable to touch Khizar as he had studied their footwork and slashes religously. "I will be next. It appears your skill outclasses your guards quite handily, I always felt the strongest warrior in a Kingdom should be its ruler." Khizar said with a smile putting his hand behind his back and spreading out his feet in the traditional stance of Royal Swordplay, he held up his blade parallel to the ground. "How about I tell you of what I learned about your country while I show you what I learned of your sword. I hope that doesn't dissapoint you?"

A small smile spread on Fumiko's lips when Khizar walked up "A strong ruler creates a strong Empire so you are quite right that the strongest in the Kingdom should be its ruler" Fumiko looked quickly at how Khizar stood and held his sword she could see a few weak points but not at all as many as she had expected "I'm already impressed by how you hold your sword and I look forward to hearing what you have seen but..." With one quick motion was Fumiko already behind Khizar "If you think you can talk while we are fighting you underestimate me" Fumiko struck three times at Khizar with her hands all three times at weak points on his body that would normally kill but that was not Fumiko goal she would only damage Khizar so she could see what he could after the three blows she kicked after his leg to get him to fall

'Too fast' Khizar thought as she moved. Like a well oiled machine she picked out the weak points in his stance and attacked them. Too fast to avoid them all and too heavy to take head on and create an opening, he used his reactions to move back at the point of impact, taking damage from the first two blows before using the blunt side of his blade to sheppard her last blow away from his body, spinning out of the way of the kick as he did so. As soon he landed from his spin he lunged back in closing the distance while simultaneously throwing three thrusts of his own at her neck, eblow, and thigh the places that are martial artist was least able to move. "I have practiced hard, so I should at least have the stance down." He retored as he attacked, dancing back after his attack and shuffling his feet into a sturdier stance taking his arm from behind his back, adopting a Parthevian stance. "Your countries swordsmanship is the exact opposite of Balbaads, where Royal Swordplay is like its name, a playful style developed from duels thus its about speed, probing strikes and opening up your opponent for the final attack. Distance is key. Parthevian blade is about power, a style born of a warring country, similiar to your neighbors in Reim's gladiator style. Attack, Counter, and Riposte, a style well suited for powerful people which your Country breeds many of."

Fumiko smiled as her blow and kick was avoided *Not bad* Was her thought as Khizar got close to her for a counter attack. The first blow was predictable attacking where she was weak was a good tactic but she was not so easy it could be finished with one attack, Fumiko took quick one step forward so Khizar's attack hit before he had expected and Fumiko could block it with her shoulder. Fumiko felt the hit on her eblow and a small smile spread on Fumiko's lips so that was the plan attacking the normal places that are martial artist was least able to move she had underestimate Khizar her thoughts were interrupted when she also was hit on her thigh, she looked at Khizar for the next attack and then her eyes widened as he stood with a very good Parthevian battle stance "You continue to impress me Khizar not only did you stop my attack but you got two hits on me and now you can use our battle stance after only so few days and you have understood its fundamental principle" Fumiko looked quickly at all her guards "All of you move now unless you want to be caught in the fight" All of the guards almost ran away to make room since they all knew what their Queen meant when she enjoyed a fight. Fumiko's weapons started to shine slightly as she took around them "Khizar I can only respect your skills even at such a young age you are very strong. So I have to respond with my strength I hope you are ready to see up close what I can do when I do not hold back I would suggest you to try to kill me otherwise you will not be able to withstand" Fumiko held her weapons in front of her face and the Djinn circle shined strongly "Spirit of Night and Stealing by the power of my will and the strength of my Magoi I command thee to give me strength. Come forth Vual!" Shadows and darkness burst forth from Fumiko's weapons and enveloped her before they disappeared and Fumiko stood in her Full Body Equip of Vual in front of Khizar "Attack me with everything you have Khizar" As Fumiko spoke shadows was spreading from her feet

Khizar was excited to even land blows on the queen and even more so when he saw that she was enjoying herself as much as he was. "Your praise flatters me greatly Queen. I pride myself on my swordsmanship, and adopting your countries beautiful but brutal style was just what I needed to get stronger." He said, having come to the realization over the last few days that this countries sword style was better suited to his Djinn Equip. "I don't want to kill..." He was stopped mid sentence as he saw her begin to transform. 'Ahhhh crap' was the first thought in his head after that. No wonder she had told him to go for the kill, here he had been studying the sword for two days instead of learning to full body equip. Perhaps he wouldn't be able to talk while fighting now, but there was only one way to find out. "Buer, lend me your strength!" The metal vessel glowed as Khizar's blade grew longer and transformed into a crossblade, with a beautiful light surrounding his blade. He noticed the shadows coming towards him and made a crescent arc of light come from his blade shooting towards the shadows, hoping it was enough of a distraction for the Queen to miss the moment he jumped into the air flipping over her and thrusting with his blade.

Fumiko just smiled as the light was shooting towards the shadows "Khizar I promised I would show you how to use a Djinns full power" The light hit the shadows and destroyed some of the shadows "So the first thing you need to learn is you never attack someone without known their power" Khizar blade hit with full force the ground where Fumiko had been standing but now the Queen nowhere to be seen only the shadows was on the ground "Second thing you need to learn the normal rules of the world does not apply in a Djinn fight" From the shadows under Khizar came Fumiko's two weapons straight toward him with deadly precision straight toward his stomach, if the weapons just as much as touched Khizar would some of his strength be drained. Fumiko had melted together with the shadows

Khizar bit his lip as she commented on attacking without knowing, he knew it was foolish of him and he had gotten too excited. He met her two weapons with the tip of his blade purely on reflex and luck, splitting their course away from his stomach and instead grazing his ribs on both sides. He instantly felt tired and weakened, almost lethargic. He used his footwork to dance away from the shadows. "Fighting a shadow huh....going to be difficult." He couldn't tell where she would really be, how she would attack, and the shadows seemed to take in his strength. The only positive out of the whole situation being that his Light did have at least some effect. Compared to the Queen he didn't have near enough Maogi control or abundance at this point to keep rushing in hoping to connect on a slash. He decided he would rely on distance, and psychological effects. "Yes, and I promised I would tell you of your country." 'Perhaps' he thought 'if I can catch her off guard and give away her position that's where I'll attack.' Khizar focused some more Moagi on his blade and increased its length just long enough to scratch the bulk of the shadows, slowly he started swinging away at it while talking. "The Parthevian people are proud" He started talking, and watching.

"Khizar what are you doing with this lady!!!!?" Karina asked a she came flying on her wand crashing into Khizar she had no idea that he was training or that he was doing anything of the sort. She thought that her King had just got up and left her. Karina face was bright red and she seem to be very pissed

"K-Karina!?" Khizar said looking up at her, a mistake Fumiko was sure to make him pay for later. He had thought she would head straight for Reim and avoid staying in Parthevia too long since the relationships between the two countries was not friendly. "I thought I'd let you catch up with friends and in Reim while training with the Queen here, you know build Country relations" Khizar said turning his attention back to Fumiko's shadow. "Sorry for leaving without a word." He said sheepishly.

Fumiko looked at Khizar from her shadow world she was in when she had melted together with the shadows with a smile he had quickly discovered how dangerous it was to stand in her shadows and now he tried to distance her together with his light that destroyed her shadows was is a good plan against someone with less experience then Fumiko it would probably have worked. Fumiko was about to attack again when a girl crashed into Khizar. When Khizar looked back at the shadows stood Fumiko right in front of Khizar and the girl with the tip of her weapons at both of their throats "You have ten seconds to explain what is going on and what Reim have to do with it and I would advise you to tell me the truth Khizar" Fumiko's voice was cold as ice and her eyes told clearly she would kill them both if they tried anything. Around them had all the guards pulled their weapons and many of them stood with bows and arrows that pointed at Khizar and the girl

"Ah man" Khizar said dissapointed they had to stop fighting. He waved his hands at all the weapons in his face after sheathing his sword "Whoa calm down." He got up off the ground careful with his throat around Fumiko's weapon, he offered a hand to Karina to help her up. "This is my Magi, traveling partner, and important resident of my Kingdom Karina. We have no affiliation with Reim it is just where we are headed next and Karina's homeland. Remember I told you I was going to the Dungeon next to the country Queen?" He asked her hoping they would lower there weapons.

"You should teach your Magi not to break into a palace next time it could cost someone their life" Fumiko lowered her weapons and so did the guards. The shadows disappeared as Fumiko released her Djinn Equip and put her weapons onto her belt "You are lucky we have talked before and I know you are not an assassin was this here our first meeting had your Magi not survived" Fumiko eyes turned to Karina with a look that would make even the greatest beasts go back in fear it was a long time since the Queen had been so angry "Karina you can thank Khizar later that you are still alive but right now I want you over there" Fumiko pointed towards some chairs and a small table away from the training area "And you will not interrupt this fight again it that completely understood"

"No!" Karina pointed her finger to Fumiko that was rude very rude and after all she was a Magi. "You should treat people with at least a little bit of respect you would cut off my head or something. Khizar is my king I still stand by his side and fight and I will not sit in a chair." Karina said as she stuck her tongue out to Fumiko at the same time she grabbed Khizar arm. Wrapping her two arms around his she was very scared of this woman what was she some kind of monster?

Khizar looked down at Karina clutching his arm and smiled, then started to laugh a little bit. He loved how she talked so brazenly to the Queen of a country, made him happy. He put his free hand over Karina's to reassure her then turned his gaze to Fumiko. "That would make it a little more fair, gives me more breathing room to study how you are using your Djinn." Khizar thought he might appeal to her competitive side. "And I know it would only make the battle more fun for you Queen, not everyday someone gets to take on a Magi eh?"

"Barrier now!" Shouted Fumiko furious and all of the guards literally ran away from the training area as a handful of magicians came out and created a powerful barrier around the three of them and the whole training area. Fumiko looked at Karina but also at Khizar "When you stand before the ruler of a country after having broken into their palace it is extremely unwise to speak out against them when you get an order even for a Magi" Fumiko held her ring up in front of her face and the Djinn circle appeared from the ring shining strongly "Spirit of Demons and Monsters I order thee and thy Household to feed on my Magoi and empower me with your strength. Come forth Seere!" Fumiko was enveloped of a small tornado of Magoi before it disappeared and the Queen stood in her Full Body Equip of Seere in front of two "Try not to die Khizar" Fumiko could not remember the last time she had been so furious someone had broken into her palace and gone against her order while they had made fun of her by having their tongue out she would not let that go unpunished "I summon the 3th Guardian Baalzephon and the 6th Guardian Ronwe hear my order!" On each side of Fumiko appeared a large Djinn circle and from them stepped the two guardians out. Baalzephon ran immediately at Khizar and Karina striking down with his great sword at them both repeatedly both with speed and power enough to make each blow deadly. Ronwe was just standing next Fumiko keeping an eye on Khizar and Karina.

Khizar smiled, the battle was back on and he was impressed that they went from having numbers to being outnumbered in a second. He changed his blade into its Equip form and rushed to meet the Guardian barring down on them. The blows were heavy and faster than any greatsword should be, but not faster than Khizar's Royal Swordplay, he deftly met the greatsword with his own but at angle so the blade slid off the edge away from Karina and kicked the Guardian away to create space. "Karina watch that guardian by her side." Not knowing its abilities or even the guardian he was fightings abilities he wanted to gain some knowledge before going on the offensive. He again increased the light length of his blade to match that of this Guardians greatsword continually slashing away at him seeing what his swordsmanship was like.
